Keynote speakers for Tourism4SDGs19 announced

The Tourism4SDGs19 organising committee is delighted to announce an inspiring lineup of internationally recognised Keynote Speakers for the first International Research Conference on Tourism and the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be held in Auckland, New Zealand on 24- 25 January 2019.

  • Prof Susanne Becken is the Director of the Griffith Institute for Tourism and specialises in sustainable tourism with a particular focus on resource use, climate change, and environmental monitoring.
  • Johnny Edmonds (Ngapuhi Maori) is the Director of the World Indigenous Tourism Alliance (WINTA), a global Indigenous organisation established in 2012 by Indigenous tourism organisations operating in Australia, Canada, Nepal, New Zealand, Sweden and USA.
  • Michael Hall is Professor in the Department of Management, Marketing & Entrepreneurship, University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Michael has longstanding teaching, publication and research interests in tourism and temporary mobility, regional development, environmental history, global environmental and climate change, sustainability and wine and food.
