Development Studies sets out to understand and analyse the processes that are transforming people’s lives around the world. Students are taught about development issues and ideas, as well as acquiring skills to help solve development problems. Our research focuses on critical development issues including sustainable tourism, health, migration, voluntourism, aid effectiveness, corporate social responsibility and resource management.
